Growth in Downtown Denver Size:16"x20" The East High School building

The East High School building has a clock tower modeled after Independence Hall in Philadelphia

As I walked through Lower Downtown Denver out of the corner of my eye I noticed an interesting reflection

This was also taken a few summers ago in Glacier National Park and not far from where I saw the baby mountain goat

Earlier this month while walking near the capitol I decided to head inside to see of the activity

Growth in Downtown Denver Size:16"x20" The East High School buildingJust like in any large city growth is inevitable. In Denver the past few years this is quite noticeable anywhere you look with new buildings sprouting up near Union Station and other locations. On this day as I was walking through lower downtown I looked up noticed the old and new elements of the buildings blending together. The new building is 1800 Larimer, also known as the Xcel Energy Building, while the old is the Denver City Cable Railway Company
